i picked this quarter from the coin return of a water dispenser machine the other night. after some careful study of it and tedious referencing on Wexler's site I have concluded it's a WDDR-144. the doubling can be seen in window pane R3: see that small sliver of extra metal? as it turns out, there are several other DDRs that have a similar piece of metal like that in the same spot in R3. I had to scroll thru all 178 DDRs looking for mine. I narrowed it down to a handful and then I proceeded to examine all the different markers. I think I nailed it pretty quickly. because I'm on a mobile device, Pixlr indicates that I can only do 3 pictures per day. so after midnight-- tomorrow sometime-- i'll be posting more pictures. i'll post Wexler's WDDR-144 example picture and the detail picture from my quarter that convinced me I have a WDDR-144. it'll be worth the wait. also worth mentioning that I have pulled from circulation or picked from someplace outside 14 different DDR 2015-P nebraska homestead quarters. the doubling on most of them isn't very exciting, but finding them and attributing them is an excellent exercise for the coinhead. it's worth putting time into it. more pix tomorrow.

Nice find! I have also become familiar with the challenges of attributing the many very similar jolted DDRs. It's a satisfying feeling when you can finally match the markers—and a frustration when you cannot!

the clincher for me as I was reading thru the markers and examining my coin was the pre-die break goofiness happening over the roof; it's an exact match: that's wexler's example above, and mine below. I circled in red a very tiny break, a small dot, on each:

Well done on the attribution. There's a lot to look through for the series, so #129392; congrats on your perseverance.
That "snow on the roof" is a great marker.

Quote: Pixlr indicates that I can only do 3 pictures per day. Just a heads up, there are free alternatives to Pixlr. Search your app store for a photo resizer.

i will do that. here are three of the die breaks/chips on my coin, which matches wexler's: all three are near corn leaf tips.

The free Image Size app works well for iPad. You have to watch a video after each resize. It provides a file size estimate prior to resize, which is nice.

You have to admire the dedication of the Wexler attributers. It must take tremendous patience to examine coins when there are over 100 listings for a particular year.
