Here's a 1921 Peace dollar that will probably cause a grimace or two. I have no clue why someone would do this to a coin like this. Please give me what your details (not net) grade would be and what you think would be a fair collector price.

It's F details. Where'd you get this one, ebay? Always inspect the seller's pics carefully, and if you still want to take a chance, make sure they accept returns. In this case, I say just list the coin for auction on ebay, start the bidding at $0.99, and take whatever you get. That is, of course, unless you can return the coin. You can try selling it for bullion, but you'll probably get less than $10 for it.

Agree F details (scratched, cleaned), not a collector coin.

In 1921 it was just a dollar. I've seen a hobo Buffalo nickel carved into a fairly nice 1918/7. Ouch! But it too was just a nickel once.
ANA ID: 3203813 - CONECA ID: N-5637 Clean a coin that may be worth collecting? Please DON'T! When in doubt, leave it dirty!!

Horribly abused coin, zero collector value. IMO value is limited to silver bullion.

Terrible what happened to this coin, fine details. Not something I would purchase or pay any premium for.. But I wouldn't be surprised if someone would pay $45-$55 on the bay... C'mon really under $10 sick puppy .. melt is over double that..
I've been collecting for a couple years... Favorite Coin's are Standing Liberty quarters, Working on my type set | Coffee, Corvettes, Coins & the CCF what could be better?

I went with the advice. It's on ebay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/226225549222Now, tell me...and be honest...how honest was I with the listing on a scale of 1 to 10 [1 = g-d darn liar; 10 = should be nominated for sainthood]?
