Beautiful indeed.

Be aware that only one of those coins currently has any bidders, the rest are asking prices which may or may not receive any actual bidding interest.

Indeed nickelsearcher - however regardless of interest/sale, we can assume it came out of a single collection and that creates my drool factor.

Not a bad looking set! Bust gold in NGC holders tend to be overgraded, as the 1795 eagle looks a couple points high for a 64. The 1800 Eagle in PCGS MS-64 is solid for the grade. The 1798/7 and the 1797 in PCGS AU-55+ have some beautiful blood-orange and violet toning, with the 1797 being my favorite showcasing the small eagle reverse.

The die crack running into the strikethrough on the 97 is sure unique. Definitely an appealing tone.

I suppose a buyer will come along. Not me, even if I had the money. I'm trying to upgrade my collection somewhat, but that amounts to buying slabbed high grade common coins that are well struck. I'm a factor of 100 away from any of these.

I love GC, especially their 10% fee, but the one negative is they often have ludicrious starting bids and do not sell. I've been looking for 1793 copper for years, and the same moldy old coins keep coming up over & over, same high starting bid, same zero actual bids, they just keep coming back to clog up my search.

Rant over, these are awesome coins and way out of most folks' league, including mine.
