ADDED: As to your question about the weight, it should be 3.11 grams and is within tolerance for the large date copper cent. There could be loss of copper due to damage too, maybe explaining it being a little light.
Funny how you post up a TINY image of the important side, then a nice large one of the reverse (the side that don't really matter in this particular instance.
So I'm going to err on the side of caution and say that this is a large date Denver cent.
