2018 Lincoln Memorial Cent No Mint Mark Error

Sap Moderator Australia 16826 Posts	Posted 10/01/2024 6:57 pm As noted by others above, it's a "glue job" - someone glued Two Cents together using some kind of transparent glue, then pulled the coins apart again. The memorial is the impression left behind in the glue from the second coin. Absolutely 100% not a mint error. Are two exceptions: 1. War Nickels 1942-1945 After some NORMAL 1942 with no mint mark, the Philly mint made what are known as "war nickels." Those War Nickels from 1942-1945 made at Philly have a large P above Monticello on the REV. 2. 2017 pennies made ay Philly have a P on them.
