*** Edited by Staff to Add Year / Mintmark / Denomination to Title. It's very important to have in the title. *** Edited by Dflawles 10/11/2024 2:23 pm

Reverse pic is out of focus. It has some circulation wear. In my opinion cleaned in the past but I'm no expert.

What is the mint mark? What VAM do you think it is? Looks cleaned to me. John1

Appears to be a cleaning from long ago--in other words, not last week or the week before..

79-S reverse of '78 that suffers from light wear and an old cleaning that may or may not 'detail' it. Somewhere between high XF and low AU to these old eyes of mine. Tougher coin!

As westernsky has stated 79S with reverse of 78, good find. Here is a link that may help you narrow down the VAM, if you are interested. As others have said, cleaned at some point. LINK http://www.vamworld.com/wiki/T_R_U_S_T

Thanks for the input and editing. Just starting out to this and got my 1st butt spanking from PCGS I sent in. I am learning and sent more in now that I know better. I did catch the VAM on this thank again. This cleaning stuff is a bit hard for me to get ahold on. Even after watching tons of videos on it. Thanks again to all who contributed. Im going to send this in to PCGS for the VAM.

In case you do not know: as a general rule a coin needs a minimum retail value of $150 after slabbing to justify all costs involved in sending it in. John1
