  I have never seen anything like this and I wouldn't even know what to call this error to research it. Anybody got a moment to help ?

Looks like the coin was in a rusty tool box. Soak it in acetone it will probably come clean.

Sorry everyone I had to go get more candy for the halloweeners. Anyhow, yes I am talking about the orange/red around all the different areas on the obverse. A friend of mine says he thinks it;s called Improper Annealing ? It happens apparently sometimes during the cooling process. Says the outer metal is not adhearing properly
