Kurt,
That is nice and tough Variety Lincoln! Congrats! Did you Cherrypick it or purchase the coin? If you have plans to sell it, I would recommend waiting until the Coin Market turns around. It seems that while certain Types, Series and/or Varieties are still holding their own in the depressed Market, others have hit rock bottom or on their way there!

Those are defintely scarce. I was the first purchaser of the discovery set back when it was first showcased in Coin World.

Since I have two of the 1998-S Close AM, I decided to let another collector own one. I also have a 1999-S Close AM, all found in dealer albums at shows. Keep looking...I bet there are more out there. Great photo Thad!

I hear that's possible...I've looked in sets, but to no success (yet).

Thad, When you sent the coin in to be attributed did you check off the fact, on the submission sheet, that it is indeed a Close AM?I have seen coins come back from these graders authenticating the coin, and not mentioning the rotated reverse was at 180-degrees, on the label....Mike
