I was at a crossroads deciding what to do with my bullion set. I'd bought the second Lighthouse case at the World's Fair of Money in Chicago this summer. Then the Star Privy ASE came along. It's kind of a bummer because who would have though another bullion ASE would come out this year? So even though I'm now splitting 2024 into 2 different boxes, here I am. I bought a raw Star Privy and that showed up today. I've got it in an EvoCore cap in the new case. Close up of the little homewrecker. First tray 1986-2005, middle tray (bottom of the case) 2006-2024 including type 1 and 2 (I have both of those reverse side up). And then the single Star Privy 2024. It was hard to decide what to do with the Star. Technically, what is the Privy ASE considered, a variety? I just figured the Mint considers it a bullion and they are producing, is it 500k? I figured just adding it to the bullion set is up to me, it's as good a place as any to put it.

Quote: I just figured the Mint considers it a bullion... It's definitely bullion; it has no MM. But it is a bit of a grey area... it's a bullion variety but at least there's something visually different about it vs an "Emergency Issue" TPG label.

I was afraid they'd get worn looking quickly. They really seem to actually be quite durable, they never seen to get beat up or scratched.

At least with 2025 just around the corner, she won't be lonely for long!

You can put a medallion in the 1st spot and shift the rest up.
