Got to error-ref.com and look up plating blister for what the line is. Not uncommon and not worth anything.
The
no mint mark issues is what I call an
ebay fad. online shysters try to play on the lack of coin knowledge of others and sucker them out of cash by hyping up something that is not a coin error.
Philadelphia did not put any mint mark (meaning the P is not there deliberately) until the year 1980.
There are two exceptions:
1.
War Nickels 1942-1945 After some NORMAL 1942 with
no mint mark, the Philly mint made what are known as "war nickels." Those
War Nickels from 1942-1945 made at Philly have a large P above Monticello on the REV.
2. 2017 pennies made ay Philly have a P on them.
Don't feel badly b/c we have a lot of people coming here with similar things!
