Well sort of - with the arrival of two Double Eagle Gold coins from Harlan Berk I have completed the gold page of the 7070. Both coins were slabbed in PCGS holders at MS61. I have real trouble photographing coins even with my Canon SLR and Macro lens, and by the time I get the resolution down to a size this forum will accept, all resolution is gone. Anyway here are some bad photos.

very very nice collection. You have more value on that page than most people have in their savings accounts. I am truly impressed. congrats.

well I purchased a few of my 7070 coins from HJB and I went there about a week ago and finally saw they had a classic head Large Cent and purchased it (well laid it away) before they even took a picture of it because it was listed as problem free and AU-50 condition. they are one of the few I will buy from sight unseen, hope I don't feel differently in a couple months once I finish paying for this thing. But once I do get it I will have 2 more coins and mine will finally be finished

Congrats on finishing the gold page. Most people never even attempt it. Beautiful collection.

I'd love to start collecting some gold, but the cash outlay is a barrier. The more I'm seeing these 7070s, the more I'm tempted to go out and start buying the contents. As was discussed in another post yesterday, I'm going to focus on completing what I have before I move onto bigger ventures like the 7070.

Quote: I have completed the gold page of the 7070 Have you completed the whole album or just the Gold page? At todays prices for the coins on the Gold page that is quite a feat by itself

Brian, you must have forgotten me. We have a whole history of posts and threads about the 7070. It has been completed for over four years, but I have been upgrading it since then. The gold page was last for me. I am interested in seeing a picture of your AU Classic Head Cent. That cost more than my most expensive gold coin I am sure.

That is one nice Page! Does the newest 7070 have a hole for the 2009 St Gaudens?

well in about 3 months I will gladly take a picture of that thing. That is if it meets my standards and I don't send it back which I usually am pleasantly surprised with HJB because they grade pretty closely to my own grading unlike Jakes Market Place where I was definitely disappointed in a Seated Liberty quarter they had graded as MS-63 (I grade it as AU and so did the forum) but it was a gift so I couldn't send it back (could have but the gift meant more than the coin anyway so it was a win win even though I am sure they overpaid for the coin, I just didn't have the heart to tell them that)
