Would this be considered a true DDR or the beginning of Die Deterioration Doubling? Some of the devices don't look flat and shelf-like but would love some opinions. Thanks

Nice looking coin and good photography, as you guessed correctly it is a Die Deterioration Doubling.

As other have stated, Die Deterioration. Take notice of how it is on both sides of most of the devices, that is a sure sign of this.

Whenever you think you have a double die coin, you can just go to varietyvista.com to see if it is listed there. If it is not then you have some of the form of noncollectible doubling.
