...And I don't mean the color. Bad lighting for the picture accounts for the off-silvery look. But Jefferson looks a tad squeezed, no?

Given the images posted, it appears to be a well-circulated '86 P--perhaps with a bit of Die Deterioration going on.

There is a strange bit of rim poking out all along the perimeter. Could just be that severe Die Deterioration is rounding the die edge off. Is it the same diameter and thickness as other nickels?

Any discrepancy most likely has to be from the worn die problem. Don't know what's going on with the rim if that "line" around it is shadows from the picture or what.

The obverse is showing severe Die Deterioration. The reverse is showing Die Deterioration as well. You can keep it as an educational piece.
