It looks pretty nice for a coin that's been in circulation for 43 years Photos stink.... Wish it didn't have the FG. Most people dislike this particular demonination, right? halfamind Pillar of the Community United States 1488 Posts	Posted 06/25/2025 5:33 pm Pretty much a face value coin. If you stumble across a 1970-D or 1987-P or D, they are NIFC. Saying it has been "in circulation" for 40+ years is a little misleading, because they rarely circulate. This one may have sat in a collection for a while before being turned loose. Usually you can easily tell which halves have sat in sock drawers and which ones have rattled around casinos. Some folks actually like the Kennedy halves, but after more than 60 years, it might be time for a new design. Report this Post to the Staff
