It's essential to have it in the title. * So I pulled this LMC out of a roll of pennies/cents and if you look close you can see an uplift on the top of obverse of the coin. I have not come across one like this before and was wondering if any knows what causes this type of issue. Hopefully the photos are good enough so you all can see what I am talking about. Spence Moderator United States 34426 Posts	Posted 07/20/2025 11:35 am @arby, the only thing I would add to the above responses is that for Lincoln Cents, the last part of STATES and OF are very often weakly struck up and the metal seems to flow better into the bottom of Abe's bust. Yours is a good example of this phenomenon.
