I really only collect modern commemorative coins and my collection mostly consists of the proof versions of the various quarter and dollar programs I have a variety of other coins and recently started to collect ASEs but it didn't take long to assembly what I consider are pretty complete "type" set 2025 is the end of the current Quarter and AI Dollar programs and this may be an unpopular opinion but it doesn't bother me I'm looking forward to 2026 and what happens next Here is some coin porn for mottling though this post Edited by Boba Debt 09/02/2025 11:38 pm

2025 is not the end of the American Innovation Dollars. That program is scheduled to end in 2032 and would require Congress to terminate it early.

I collect what I like.
Those pics are just a small sample of my tye collection
I explore other genres.
For example, I have a collection of Vatican 200 Lira coins featuring different Popes and a set of 25 cent Pesetas commemorating various Spanish events.
Sometimes, I find myself getting caught up in the urge to complete collections, like the AI dollars.
But as time goes on the excitement fades.

I should have been more specific about the AI Proof Dollars program ending

We don't even know that the AI proof program is ending. The subscription for the separate proof set has discontinued, but they may offer a combined set with the regular circulating coins going forward.

Or they could do something silly, like start minting them in West Point. Quote: This is pretty compelling evidence. Only that the individual set of San Francisco minted proof AI dollars is ending. The coins could still be minted, just packaged differently (part of the full set) or at a different facility. Either way, those options would require a new product code and therefore a new subscription. It could still be the end, I am just hopeful it is not the end.

There will still be a lense of 5 quaters from 2027-2032 and they will most likly will be included in the coins sets Do you think they will just add a 3rd lense to the Proof set?

I'm glad that the LESPs is ending - it had a good run - it was WAY too expensive now. A bit miffed that the S ASE proof is though. and the P:roof AI from San Fran is a bit of a bummer to be ending - one can only hope (beyond hope) that they plan to produce them somewhere else (but I'm holding my breath.. I can't wait to see the next years schedule.
