Need some help. The area from the chin to the collar is a little wider, making me think it's a die crack. Have looked at other 1899 on line. Had no luck finding one like it. So, I come to the pro's. Thanks

IMO....first thing that came to mind was an old scratch that over time has filled with gunk...(just like what's around the devices).

How does A crack fill back up with copper. The area I am referring to runs from the chin angled to the collar. It is raised. Just raising a question?

Looks like a scratch, but the closer photos may change my mind.
