As I headed out for a medal detecting trip one day recently, I stopped at the local gas station to get a couple of donuts. The two donuts cost $2.22. I gave the cashier $2.25 and got
Three Cents in change.
I was quite surprised, and pleased, to see that one of the cents was a proof 2008-S Lincoln. That was a first for me.


Things got even better. During my detecting hunt I dug up a 1937
Mercury dime and a silver religious medallion. It was a good day.
