I started looking at my Buffalo nickels again and found this 1937 D that in my opinion is an RPM -0001 OR-002 because it looks like it moves East. The placement looks correct as well. Thanks for your comments and opinions. Looks like some DDD as well.

I would say RPM-002 (RPM-001 has a die crack running through the 'Five Cents', and your coin does not show that)

Pretty sure it's RPM-008 which crosses over with WRPM-008 with Wexler but does not show it crosses. The mm distance is not correct for RPM-002 north to south with the C. Also look at the "I'm going to call it a Ridge Ring but do not think that is correct" it shows on your and the two listings I am suggesting. Take a look. I do think yours is a different die stage than VV's and Wexler's though. The yellow lines show the distance I'm talking about. The vertical line on the left shows yours is more west than VV's 001 and the diagonal lines show the north to south difference in VV's 002, yours is more south.

Nothing to add to the discussion here, but I'll toss out four very quick observations.
-makecents- nailed the attribution. Well done!
jfeed, your coin photos are absolutely fantastic.
RPMs and many of the doubled dies on the Buffalo series are very difficult in general because of the cluttered design and tight spacing required for mm placement, and are made even more difficult on circulated coins.
My never-ending frustration with all three of the big variety sites is their lack of whole-coin obverse and reverse photos. They would help tremendously.

Thank you fortcollins and makecents... I kept putting the coin back in the jar so now I can document it and get it in 2X2...
