Hey folks, trying to get some value insight on this 1927. I know lamination cracks are relatively common in this era but ive never seen one so pronounced or well defined. The included photos are taken using a negative (thermal) filter to highlight the details.
Wheat cent laminations can be striking (figuratively). Value? Depends on the 'severity' of the lamination issue and what lamination enthusiasts are willing to pay. Your piece might bring a few dollars. For fun, suggest checking ebay for ' Wheat cent lamination' examples--look at the sold information, not asking price info.
Please be mindful to include the denomination in your thread titles. There were a lot of denominations minted in 1927, so the date alone does not identify the topic.
