Found this. The size of a penny with copper on outside but is George Washington and nickel finish on inside.

To CCF! Could be a Dryer Coin. It's PMD, not an error coin.

First, welcome to CCF. Second, 100% mechanical damage as noted before, but I wanted to comment on the cool shape of the exposed copper core on the reverse. I'm thinking it is the eagle's neck and body. I might save this coin just for that.

Yep - long term Dryer Coin. It was originally a Washington quarter!

Would a dryer shrink a quarter to the size of a penny though?

There's a quarter? I was stuck on the black fingernail polish -

Guessing there is more going on than just calling it a Dryer Coin!
