Tough one to grade - I'd probably go Light Strike AU (58)

I'm thinking maybe AU? There could be a Weak Strike issue involved, making it tougher to grade it.

AU 53 to 55 to these old and tired eyes of mine. Lovely coin no matter how it grades

I'm not sure what was going on with the Philadelphia half dollars in 1920, but there are a couple die pair that produced absolute pancake central strikes with strong peripheral strikes. Maybe a basining issue? This looks like a coin from one of those die pair. This coin has strong luster. I wonder if this could be a slider. If it is an UNC, the contact marks would hold it to the 61-62 range. I can't get a good enough feel to take a stab at a specific grade here from the photos, but my hunch is the 55-62 range.

I'd like to know the story of that gouge in "In" in the obverse. Is that the die ?

I like the coin even if its not a world beater.

Nice-looking Walker. The mark on I of "IN" appears to be a contact mark. There is a similar hit at the back of Liberty's right knee.
Probably some strike weakness is present but some detail loss is from wear IMO. I'll venture an AU-53 grade.

I'd be at AU-53-55 range. Mark in the "I" is a contact mark.

Thank you all for your feedback on my Walking Liberty half. It resides with her sisters in my album.
