Hello, I am very bad at these. Any input on weather it is a small or a large date?

I probably need better crisp pictures to tell for sure, but it sure looks like the 9 is pointy, suggesting small date.

If the top of the 7 is below the 0 it's a large date.

We have some excellent talent here and this question comes up time and again, we all have our ways of diagnosing varieties, this to me with just the leg of the 7 being lower than the zero, Large date, no need to go through the other classic signs, IMO.....

It looks like a LD with perhaps a hit to the 9, because the shape of the 7 and alignment is conclusive to me.

The other way to tell is if the "LIBERTY" is not crisp and a little mushy (great advice I was given not long ago).

panny pincher - that advice is not always correct.
The coin in question is definitely a large date. There are enough diagnostics on the date alone to not have to bother with LIBERTY.
