Whats next for the Lincoln Cent in 2010? Has a new regular design been unveiled yet? Or will the memorial reverse continue? |

The memorial will not continue. A new reverse will be released - I believe it is down to four finalists - there was a thread with pictures on the subject a couple of days ago.

Hopefully the first of those two but probably more likely to be the bland 2nd one.

Yes, the second one is bland, but still better (in my opinion) than the other non-shield candidates.

The Capitol designs would be OK if the people inside the Capitol were working for the people of the United States.
I think the new bundle of Wheat stalks would be most attractive and doesn't the wheat symbolize prosperity?
We could use a good dose of that rather than more Washington nonsense.
The Eagle flying with the olive branch symbolizes peace which would be a nice change as well.

I personally like the LP 17. Just my opinion but that's the one I like the most.
I really wouldn't care for another Capitol design, but who knows what it will be.
Guess we'll find out before long.

A little birdie tells me that these 2010 cents will be hoarded and difficult to get in your pocket change.
