This is probably another case of Machine Doubling, But I noticed the pattern on the mintmark was very similar to what was listed in "Strike it rich with pocket change", I also took a photo of the page for comparison.

Can't tell for sure from your pix but I don't think it's the one shown on the page from the book,it still could be an RPM would need close up pix to tell.

The example you posted shows the 'D' west of the primary 'D' whereas your coin shows a reduced 'D' caused by MD. Is the secondary 'D' inside the loop of your 'D'?

Thanks for the replies! For some reason I've been having a lot of trouble getting a good photo of the mintmark (I've got to get one of those danged microscopes lol >.<), I took another snapshot.

Looking at this new photo, I think it is probably Machine Doubling.

Joe - If the coin in question does not microscopically match in exact detail what you see in the book - you don't have it.

A die is like a mold. Every copy it makes is the same. So if you see a photo of a coin with something on it, any other copy made by the same die will be identical to the photo.

John1: I changed the color of the print to white. When you highlight it is turns a different color. The site doesn't offer white, so I chose the tags for a different color and changed the color to white. Makes everyone start to look for more hidden messages.
OH YEAH!
