What is your favorite US coin ever made? Mine is the Mercury dime. the main reason it is the first set I started collecting when I became serious about coins. If you have a picture of it would be great to see. The Photos Courtesy of Bobby131313's Coins and Collectibles I took I off of the US coin fact page since I don't have any of mine on my computer right now

I have to say the Walking Liberty half is the coin I think is the most beautiful coin US has ever minted (even though I collect morgans).

I have always been partial to the Flying Eagle design - penny or Dollar and to the 20 cent denomination.

Hmmmm, that's a tough one. I really do like the ASE's, but I also like both the Walking Liberty half (I know same as ASE but still different) and the Kennedy half dollars too. The Standing Liberty quarters are beautiful. Can't really say any one coin floats my boat more then the next. I guess I haven't been collecting long enough to have just one. I want them all, in proof! Margaret

Thekidcollector please check your email so you can make sure the address you gave me is correct. I want to know if I have to put all that stuff you had in the email on the shipping label? and if not what parts do I need to put there. thanks, as soon as I get confirmation I will ship this stuff out to you
I have the package packaged up and ready to go out as soon as you make sure the address is correct, also please be sure you get all the coins out of the cardboard protective packaging before you throw it away. There should be 5 or 6 coins in there dont remember (2 graded I know and I think 3 or 4 raw) But had to get you something higher than a AU-58 to look at!
so it should make a nice "early" BirthDay present for you. Hope you enjoy them as much as I have, just figured it was time to give something back to the forum that has given me so much Figured I would give them to someone that would enjoy them instead of running a contest and maybe the person not even like the series. But keep a eye on me I may have a contest also because I have quite a few duplicates now that I have started upgrading some coins

Now I respect yawls pick mind ya, BUT, the most beautiful USA coin (and one of the most expensive nowadays) EVER made is my avatar- -$20 GOLD SAINT GAUDENS-- no doubt, plus ALL the dealers every where say so-all the coin tv talking hacks say so-, and I say so, that is my evidence--

I'd have to agree with Cisco and say the $20 St. Gaudens is the most beautiful. But to collect, I like Morgans and Franklins.

I started collecting US coins at pretty much the same time as my Aussie coins due to having a couple of great friends in the good old US of A and Morgans are the pick for me although reading the above posts I realise I like the walking liberty's as a close second. Hey Cisco, are you a Texan, I cab imagine you talking the same way you type, great accent...lol

Here's a shocker... my favorite US coin is the... Standing Liberty quarter! I'll be the first to admit the reverse is kinda weak, as eagles go, the flying 1¢ and $20 saint beat it hands down (although I've always liked the heraldic eagles on bust and Seated coins too). After the SLQ, I'd have to go with the $20 saint.
