The "W" dime comes in all '96 mint sets, however on ebay many sellers are keeping the dime and selling the rest of the sets.

There's a buy it now on ebay with free shipping for $16.99. The seller doesn't have picture perfect feedback.

There are other auctions currently well below $25.00 for the set! I would think you could do better than $25.00.

Reading through this sellers feedback there have been a couple people who ordered the same set and the seller never sent it out.

You should be able to find a certified 96W that isn't registry quality(MS65-67) for much less than that. I wouldnt pay more than $20 for a 96 mint set.

You said it well, the set is available for less than 25 and this is just through local shops.
The dime is the key to the set, if my memory serves me well in the 2008,and 2010 Red Book the dime, the 50th anniversary of the 1st Roosevelt, sells for $20.00 in MS65.
I will say that looking at the dime with the W Mint mark is very cool....

Kena, If everything you bought you received a 33&1/3rd% return on in a short time, you are doing very well...

I read this last week and have to admit I did not even know there was a 96W dime. I was at one of my local coin shops today and asked if they had a 96 mint set .. they had one .. looking inside I saw the 96W was wrapped all by itself ... I ask how much they wanted .. was told $15 ... how could I not buy it. I think I will check some of the other shops and see if they have any for a similar price.
