Hard to tell without a closer look at the headband letters, but I would think with that level of leaf detail you at least have a VG8-10.

About 5 letters visible, LI, TY, half of R, and (I think) the very left top corner of the B.

I'll say it is a solid VG-8 maybe VG-10 as well.

The obverse looks like a VG-8 to me, assuming you really can see 3+ letters of LIBERTY (they don't show in the image). The reverse has decent detail remaining on the eagle but the rim is beginning to wear into some of the letters. That should limit it to a G-4. Overall the coin can probably squeak out a VG-8, but it's not strong for that grade. Still, it is a nice key date with no problems and the color looks original.

I like it. It seems to have an unusual wear pattern from my limited experience, with good detail on the reverse, but the rim is still beginning to wear away. I'd go 10/4 for a net slightly better than 6.

I graded VG-8+ initially, but didn't notice the rim on the reverse since it's pretty subtle in hand without the blown up pics. I suppose I should be careful of that more, especially since I collect this series very heavily.

My assessment now is just VG-8, but I think its a very choice coin for the level of wear. There are no stray hairlines, minor flaws, etc. except that very minor rim bruise at 1:00. I was pretty happy with the price I got this for also...$150.

This one is staying with me for awhile though...I'm probably going to try to sell some of my more common dates here, as my binders are overflowing with too many Barber coins (mostly quarters and half dollars).
