i was working a table at the a gun show today and wile walking around I managed to pick up two Mercury dimes and a 1956 dime all for under $4 total.  I also got a bunch of old European coins for cheep. |

Normally there are about 2-3 tables that are just devoted to coins and many other tables have a coin or two. One guy had a glass desplay case full of silver bullion that he was selling. Today I picked up 3 more coins 1911 V nickel1910 V nickel1897 Indian Head cent |

There aren't many (if any) gun shows in NJ, but I'm sure I'd stop by if there are cheap coins to be had!

There is one almost every weekend during the winter. Many of them are to far south for me but Ohio has a lot of them.
Cheep coins are always present along with old bank notes (Lots of silver certificates.)
O and stamps and once in a while a baseball card. War memorabilia is obviously very common.
75-90% of the tables have guns on them but those people with guns also sell other things just to supplement. You might only sell 4 guns at the show in one day but you might sell a butt load of coins, knives, stamps, war metals, and stamps.
The advantage to getting this stuff at a gun show is that 90% of these people are not looking to make a living off of it. They have very low prices and in many cases will work with you on those prices.

There was another show this weekend I picked of a few coins 1943 silver War Nickel $3.50 1941 walking liberty $7.50 1942 Mercury dime. $1.45 |

it got some decent finds at a gun show this weelend too: 1876-s XF Seated quarter $50 1867 AU Shield nickel $55 1856 VG Seated dime $4 1942-s BU War Nickel $3.50 1950-d XF nickel $7 Also a guy had a 1882-o/s morgan in ms65 and he didn't see the o/s under the date on the slab, so I was about to buy it from him for $80 and being stupid I pointed out that it was o/s and he looked it up to see that it was worth $3500, man I hated myself for doing that. Maybe next time I wont point out there mistakes Edited by coinyoungsta
