just a ball park figure. How many coins are in your collection? I was going to ask how much your collection is worth, but I thought it might be tacky.

I would like to know myself. Will be much easier to count them once the album pages arrive.. though I might have won if you asked for the most worthless collection of the forum

According to my coin database: 9156 coins, banknotes, tokens, medals etc. That doesn't count my Australian or New Zealand decimal coin collections, so add another couple of hundred for a more accurate total.

Sap ... that's not a collection, that's a HOARD! I don't have mine that well catalogued, but I would ballpark around 4000~5000. That includes bags of wheats and tubes of Merc's and Buff's.

Best guess, I have around 1,000 coins in my collection. 90% of that is probably bullion value silver.

Way to many to even begin to estimate. I know I have well over 3,000 Mercury dimes alone. I did count 1943 Lincoln Cents not long ago and had 2,650 of those. It is even getting difficult to count Albums with over 100 of them and basically all full. I do know I have 9 of those long Red Boxes for 2 rows of 2x2's and those too are full.

1287 in my "British royal portrait gallery" collection; 373 in my "Former Soviet family" collection; 2848 in "The rest of the world" collection. Total 4508 coins (all different types).

I may be a bit paranoid, but I choose to opt out of this question for security reasons John1

I have a lot of catching up to do then.. I've got maybe 1000 coins total, including circulated, purchased from the mint, and tokens from the local arcades... :)

John1...I think you saying that made it a worse security issue. :)

1485 This is only a count of coins in my Dansco albums; it does not include the various unsorted change jars.
