HI
I got this War Nickel from roll at work. I'm new to grading and would like to hear what people would grade this as and if it has been cleaned or not.
Thanks

Tough to grade a small image and photoshopped to a blue color. the reverse looks as if you turned it with a pointer to level it thus making a rim and lettering problem. I zoomed up to 400% and it looks like there is a doubled mint mark but it is probably the image distortion. It appears to be about a MS63 no full steps and a medium strike but .... try to post better pictures and we'll try again.

It appears that this time you used "sharpen" on the obverse and it looks grainy. The reverse does look rubbed this time around with your new images. See the smooth parts of the triangle and the pillars and the mintmark look a bit off For me. If it is just wear, this would be AU so you probably have a $3.00 nickel tops. The strike is pretty weak too.
I keep these grades myself but you can find a dandy 1944 P nickel for under $10.00 in MS-64 with a much better detailed strike.
If you were making a set of higher grade nickels in XF or better this might fit in just fine for you.
