There seem to be a lot of great finds from circulation and in one thread I noticed there were some really interesting counter stamps...

So, lets see what do you have?

Found this yesterday at a bank, a 1934 Half with 1958 counter stamp on reverse.

Wow, that's pretty slick, I'd love to find a nice half like that at the bank with or with out a stamp on it! Do you think it was hand done?

The "pipe" belonged to my father...the other 3 are ones I've found while roll hunting.

Wow... I thought at first glance that it was a "2000" stamp. But the pipe is much cooler.

I like the pipe stamp too! Know where it came from?

Also, what's stamped on the 1981 penny?

I've no clue where the pipe came from. Knowing my father, probably from hunting through bags from the bank.

The 81 has a WY on it...Wyoming? That's my best guess...

I have a 1967 smoking Lincoln but he only has two smoke bubbles instead of three like the other one posted. As for my other counterstamp, it definitely is not modern-

Beautiful!....any chance the "O" of the smoke could have been made with a Alpha-Numeric punch using the "O" or the Zero?

Oops! Not a US coin--a Canada cent from 1891--they got a little crazy with that "5" punch.

Yes it's Kennedy. Those were widely available during the mid 70's
attached to a list of "coincedences" in the lives of Lincoln and JFK.
(I got mine from a gum machine as well as the Liberty Bell and USA counterstamp shown by a different poster for a quarter each). Interesting enough I found a Kennedy half with a counterstamp of Lincoln not long ago roll searching. I gather it must have been sold with a list of coincedences also as it had very old glue stuck to the reverse. The cents with the states counterstamped on them were sold as a set. I was given one back in the mid 70's.
