Hello all,
I am looking for comments and suggestions on how to best list these Mercury dimes on ebay. I was thinking auction style $.99 plus $.25 shipping per coin with a $2.00 max shipping charge. Will I do ok? Should I alter my plan at all?

This is the link to the topic in the ebay sales section of the CCF

I would sell them in groups such as 1918,18-D,18-S etc. That way you could be getting the collector interested in filling his holes instead of the dealer giving you nothing for them and reselling.

Do it when there are no insertion fees either. ebay offers that once in a while.

I don't know what to price them at. I think some may go over melt and I tried to sell on here but didn't even get melt for them. Selling them on here with no pricing knowledge, grading knowledge, and such may not work best.

I have no problem paying over melt. I can get you a list of the ones I'm interested in and you set a price you think is fair. I need the dimes you need the cash. If I don't want them for the price you set no biggie. I'm not trying to pressure you so if you absolutely wanna go the ebay route by all means go ahead. I just put up a WTB on this site and got a few for my dansco but I still lack quite a few.

1.75 for the common ones and a bit more for the better ones.A bit over melt but not crazy.Right now ebay has no insertion fee for anything starting under 1 dollar auction and they are gonna keep it that way. But in your case, that would be less than melt.

I tried selling my extras on ebay but its not worth it, I barely got melt on a big lot I sold + the fee for it selling didn't help out either. Post them on here, I know I need a few of them to fit some holes

You all talked me into it. I listed prices for the dimes and have asked the forum to have the listing moved to the want to sell section.
