Poll Question
As part of our ongoing house renovations my wife has cleaned out one of the bedroom closets..
She has found 5 2x2 boxes of world coins a bunch of silver coins mostly dark siders but a few US coins and a fair amount of gold in the form of small bars 1g 5g etc.
I did not even remember I had these they have been hidden away for at least 10 years. If I did not remember them then they obviously have no emotional attachment to me.
before trying other avenues I thought I might offer them on CCF but which format would be best?

Poll Choices
Just list them in the sale section
Just list them in the Auction section
List them in the auction section with a low start and a BIN option
You are better off selling them elsewhere

Auction section but as several different ones. If you were to bunch it all together it wouldn't realize the potential price

I say use the auction with a BIN option. Sell what you can here and put the unsold items up on the bay or some where else.

Im with GO, aution is the way to go in either small groups or singles of the nicer items.

But always start with a price you would be happy with as a starting bid.

I'd say auction with low starting bid and BIN option.

I like CCF auctions because I miss so many items offered for sale. There it is first come first served. I also don't respond once I see somebody has posted "PM sent" and nothing else is posted about what or whether it got sold. I really think it should be a rule that people post about what they are PM - ing about.

Being so far away and in a different time zone of 12 hours ahead, for me CCF auctions always ends when I'm still asleep.

I suggest for darkside coins, just go for the SELL with fixed amount, if it fails to unload then proceed plan B as:

Quote:
I'd say auction with low starting bid and BIN option.

Which I also completely agree with

Well.....if I can't get them for the cost of the postage I'll vote for auction. I agree with wheezydog, I miss a lot of deals because I'm not in the right place at the right time.
