I found this coin when my grandmother died and I want to know if it is real.

Picture please? If it is real it is worth a considerable amount, however this coin is often forged.

i know that but it is made with gold dust. My grandmother had it so I think it is real but I could always be wrong.

Looks like we posted at the same time, My gut instinct says that the coin is not authentic, the color is wrong and so is detail of the design elements, also the coin appears to be grainy on the surface which suggests a cast counterfeit. In my professional opinion it is not authentic.
Rest in Peace

Agree with PFCBEGA. Doesn't even look like real gold. Sorry.

That's one of the thousands of cast copies that are out there. There are plated with gold or gold paint usually. Worth about $2-$3.
Real Morman $5 gold coins are worth thousands even in low grade. Very scarce type.
