This is my first "real" doubled die that I've found myself. I've got a couple War Nickels that I'm on the fence about but this one is too clear for any doubt.

I have a decent size stash of old Jeffersons that I picked all the key dates and silver out of and had just sorted by decade. Since I had all the 39p's set aside (only one from the 30s I wasn't counting as key), I decided to take a look with the loupe. I had about 5 nickels left out of ~250 when I came across this beauty.

I think I'm hooked.

It did. I almost didn't believe my eyes. I had to set it aside, calmly go through the last 5 nickels, and then stare at it for a while.

Very nice! I pulled one a few months back, unfortunately mine is discolored from having been in the ground, but is about the same condition otherwise.
