Beautiful! I like how you photographed it on a mirror. It really makes the coin look great!

I agree - the mirror touch is awesome. Once I get a little better at my photography, I'll have to give that a shot.

Although the pictures are not very good they should give a general idea. This is one of the old "Official ANA Grade" slabs & I believe the coin to be undergraded.

Stewart That is a very nice looking Peace dollar ... I really like toned coins. Can I ask what program you use to join the two pictures together, the obverse to reverse. I have been using picasa3, just to reduce the file size ... but I don't think I have that option to join pictures.

GoldRush Thanks for the compliment The name of the program I use is called GIMP It is free. It has a bit of a learning curve but not bad at all. I picked it up pretty quickly http://www.gimp.org/Terry

GoldRush, Nice Hole Fillers. Before my insanity about the Eisenhower dollars set in I used to and some times still enjoy VAM Hunting I noticed something on your 1934 D Peace that you might want to check out.The doubling of the last two rays of liberty's crown. and compare it to the link below. Hope this helps. Watch out VAM Hunting can be addictive http://www.vamworld.com/1934-D+VAM-3Terry

Terry, I really did buy these just to fill the holes in my Dansco. Now I only need two more, the 1921 and 1935. These two are very recent purchases, the 1928 for $220 and the 34 D for $32. I think the 28 looks better in hand, I need to work on getting better photo's. You have really good eye's the 34 D looks just like the link you sent. In hand I can see the doubled rays, the doubled letters and forehead. I guess I should post in the VAM section just to see what input I can get there. Thanks for pointing that out Tom

I am not much of a Peace Type Silver Dollar person but I have a few. Just plain bullion for me.
