will those grades justify the price of getting them graded ? without checking the gray sheet on the specific coins you mentioned, I am wondering what your mindset is regarding third party grading
The 1864L
IHC, 1889 and 1939
Jefferson nickel were all varieties (S-4, S-4, and
DDR respectively) The dimes I was hoping to get a high grade and/or FT, which one did, and I was hoping to get a high MS grade for the 1902. The 1939 Jefferson
DDR, 1996w FT Roosevelt and the 1864L are worth significantly more now that I got them graded, which more then makes up for the cost.
Here are the results. As I posted in the other thread, I was a little disappointed, but was also surprised too.
Good: FT Roosevelt, 1864L was AU, I bought it as XF, the 1889 got the variety I wanted and the 1939
DDR got a much higher grade then I was expecting.
