Please read what a certain J C Reed from Denver, Colorado who has been selling on ebay under the name of "booksmusicetc" replied to me after not receieving an item from him. This is his profile on ebay. Has low feedback result (%98,5) I will never buy from anyone who has not %100 feedback again. http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISA...VIP:feedbackHi molydeiii, We let the seller know you didn't receive the item. The seller offered you a full refund of $45.49 to be issued through the same payment method you used to pay for the item. Refund information: A full refund of $45.49 through the payment method used to pay for the item. Seller's note: "THIS CASE IS COMPLETE TOTAL FRAUD. THE ITEM WAS SENT AND THIS IS THE VERY FIRST I HAVE HEARD OF IT SINCE. IT GOT THERE A LONG TIME AGO. THE PERSON DID RECEIVE THIS. THIS IS A COMPLETE TOTAL FRAUD. TURKEY IS A RISKY PLACE TO SEND ANYTHING. THERE IS NO WAY TO CONFIRM RECEIPT AT ALL. I HAVE PROOF OF MAILING. THIS PERSON IS CRIMINALLY ATTEMPTING TO EXPLOIT THE FREE BUYER PROTECTION. ....15 YEARS OF SELLING ON ebay AND NEVER EXPERIENCED THIS TYPE OF FRAUD AGAINST ME. .........IF ebay CHARGES ME FOR THIS CRIMINAL CLAIM I WILL SUE ebay. THE BUYER IS A CRIMINAL. ...NO FURTHER COMMENTS WILL BE MADE. MY RECORD OF 15 YEARS OF HONEST SELLING SPEAKS FOR ITSELF."
"ALSO I HAVE THE CERTIFICATE OF MAILING DATED OCTOBER 8 2010. I HAVE THE CUSTOM DECLARATION WITH THE ABOVE NUMBER OCT 8 2010. ALSO I HAVE THE ORIGINAL MAILING RECEIPT FROM MONTCLAIR DENVER 80220 POST OFFICE. THAT IS THE MOST DOCUMENTATION OF INTERNATIONAL MAILING TO TURKEY AVAILABLE. NO INSURANCE WAS AVAILABLE. THIS CASE IS FRAUDULENT. I HAVE SUCESSFULLY MAILED ITEMS TO TURKEY IN THE PAST WITH NO PROBLEMS. I WAS TOLD IF I MAILED THIS IT IS NOW VERY FULL OF PEOPLE CLAIMING THEY DON'T RECEIVE THEM. TURKEY IS A CRIMINAL SOCIETY AND THEY LIE TO GET THE SELLERS MONEY AND FREE ITEMS. 15 YEARS AND NEVER SAW SUCH HORRIBLE THINGS ON ebay."How do you suggest I can communicate with a man like that? I didn't accept his full refund. I'd rather see him penalized by ebay rather than get a refund. How do you think I should act?

He's too bent-out to be rational. If he didn't want to run the risk of eating a loss, then he shouldn't have sent to Turkey, since according to him they don't allow insurance. He took that risk. You didn't get your product. If he wants to throw a tantrum, let him. If he talks to ebay with steam coming out of his ears, he'll just appear that much more unreasonable. FYI, be careful with this guy. He's not stable.

Well if he mailed it on the 8th maybe it just hasn't gotten there yet.

I would just take the refund and be done with it. Why waste any of your energy and time on a person like this? I do understand your desire to make him pay, but it just is not worth it.

Obviously, there's no point in trying to communicate with this wacko. Just take the money and run and forget about getting him hammered by ebay. That's simply not going to happen.

Quote: TURKEY IS A RISKY PLACE TO SEND ANYTHING Unfortunately this statement is very true. Turkey is the second worst destination behind Greece from my personal experience. About 60% of packages to Greece and about 30% to Turkey never made it to their destinations. Obviously, I no longer ship to either.

scubu, l have bought more than 120 items and traded with more than 15 American members from this forum and ebay. Only lost two incoming and one outgoing packages. Suprisingly, all was to or from Canada.

I agree with the others, even though he sounds unstable, I do believe he sent the item. I would have just taken the refund and moved on. I would give him the benefit of the doubt that he did send it, and accept it. I think having ebay "punish" him is too severe in a case where you don't have proof he didn't send it.

I want ebay to penalize him, if I can, not because of any coin. It is because of humiliation Davidzerbato, what would you feel if I sold you something and you did not receieve, and after that the next thing you see is me calling all americans 'thieves and crook' and calling you a criminal. please think outside the box on this. I am not after a refund. I can live without 45 dollars, unlike him.

I do understand where you're coming from and what your point is. $45 in the end won't make or break you. Maybe our cultures are different or we just have different view points, but you won't get any where by trying to reason or deal with a person like that. His statements are obviously not true and eccentric and you can't take a message like that personal, or at least I don't. If you were face to face, he would probably be singing a different tune, but he is able to hide behind the veil that is the internet and say whatever he wants to. If I received a message like that, I would laugh, leave appropriate feedback and never deal with him again.

Just my 2 cents worth. Don't get dragged down to his level by allowing one persons negative comments on you or your country to influence your judgment. I ship items world wide and do have reservations about certain countries Turkey being amongst them. The only country I will no longer ship to is India with a package loss rate of close to 50% Despite the persons ranting it would appear he did did send the item. Perhaps tolerance would be the better part of valor in this case. If you get dragged down to his level then you are just proving him correct in his own mind.

accept the refund and move on. Don't waste any more of your time with this goofball. Your time is more valuable and at least you can get your refund. Do so gracefully and keep yourself above the fray and don't stopp down to his gutter level.

The seller has posted 6 responses on ebay. Didn't read them all but will pastethem to here tomorrow. Mostly the same crap being a thief, crook, etc. Then he says "I am not insulting anyone I am a poor old senior' very very interesting. Will post them tomorrow. I am on my mobile, this is why it is short

Honestly, sounds like a typical "ignorant" American on the Internet. (I'm an american, and on the internet, so I should know ) Seriously though, guy sounds like a (you know what). I would just send him a message and kill him with kindness. But make sure to use "bad foreigner english" to top it off.
