How about an almost complete set of Jefferson nickels from rolls (I've got the complete set, but bought the 1950-d and silver ones.) I was even able to find a 1939-d, even though it's in really bad shape. I'm now onto working on upgrading them all to BU, but that was great to find all those coins just for face value!

I search through mostly cent rolls, as I am looking for errors, and I have found many different types of errors. I have found 4 (!) genuine double die cents, many filled die errors, a penny with all sharp details missing the date, and many more...

I actually just looked through my first rolls (ever) today. I was happy to find a 1945-S Silver Nickel and a 1958 Nickel. Not bad for getting only one roll of nickels...

From a couple BU rolls of cents I recently got grades from PCGS.
Out of 2 rolls of 1938-S cents I sent in 26 all RPM #'s 1,2 and 3. They all came back in MS64 and MS65 red and 1 bodybag.
Out of 12 1946-P cents I received 4 in MS64, 5 in ms65 and 2 in MS66. and one dreaded bodybag.
And from a roll of '83-d quarters I sent in 9 and got back 7 in MS65 and 2 in MS66.

I posted this to another fella about Kennedy halves.

I picked up 48 different mint mark and dates from 64-2000 out of $100 worth of bank rolled halves...nearly a complete set minus the proofs!

Yeah, I find about 10 different dates or MM per roll of Kennedy's. Almost put together a whole set in the $320 worth I've bought.

Well these are the 3 most recent submissions for me. I am very disappointed. I not only felt the coins I sent in were nice but say for the '83-D quarters. I purchased one inPCGS MS66 to use as a benchmark to judge the roll I had. I felt very confident the ones I sent in were every bit as good as the holdered one I had perhaps better. I owned examples of the cents in MS66 for years near the ones I sent in. I felt many would go 66 with shot at 67. 67 may have been dreaming but 1 or 2 seemed head and shoulders better then the 66.
The only coins I sent in with no regard to grade were the 1938-S RPM cents. Sometimes I think they look too hard at the price jump from one grade to the next instead of just at the coin when grading.
There. I feel better now.
