I just finished looking through 20 rolls of nickels and had numerous peace medal coins. Didn't even think about looking for those. I have heard of them awhile back. I guess I'm going to have to look back through them.

I've been roll searchin' for about two months now. I think it gets better with time and patience. I've been trying to search 20 rolls of either pennies or nickels everyday. Today, I searched 20 of each and found a silver 1943-S, a 1939, and a couple of 1950's Jefferson's. I was also pleasantly surprised to find 15 wheaties and quite a few '81 and older coppers to add to my hoard. I just started a Jefferson collection from roll searching, which has been really fun and rewarding. This is the third War Nickel I've found in as many weeks. It's much easier buying them at my local coin shop in BU for cheap but it's more fun "hunting" them.

Went through a lot of rolls of lincoln cents today. I wound up with about 12 wheaties, oldest was 1927. Then there were six canadian cents oldest was 1966. also found 50 koneek? that was a new one. A canadian dime and a cuban nickel. Was a fun day. I also went through some quarters and found some states I needed.

I got 20 rolls of pennies today to search but became discouraged half way through searching them because the newer ones are very "splotchy" and the pre-82's have an unnatural iridescent sheen to them. They may have been submerged in some sort of chemical that degraded them badly.

Who's idea was this? I went thru 5 rolls of n+q and 10 of pennies.Still not sure if nickle is sil.1941p.And I got a penny in a nickle roll and a nickle in a quarter roll. This is for a laugh and I'm gonna clean that nickle.

OK I don't know how common this is since I just started buying half dollar rolls this week. But out of the 3 rolls I got today I got 7 Bicentennial half out of them. other then that just a good start to my new collection of half dollars.

New to this forum, but not to roll hunting. Been doing it around 10 years, mainly halves. In that time I have found about 580 90%, close to 6000 40% (sold 5500 of them), 4 modern commemeratives, 2 1970D, close to 200 circulated proofs, about 20 silver bicentenials, 112 1974D DDO, 8 errors (including a 1965 straight clip) and several foreign, including an extremely worn 1867 english penny. Only thing of real interest I have found in the other denominations was a triple clip nickel. HH all.
