Can't tell anything from the pic except that the primary mintmark doesn't seem to be in the right position or direction.

Let's see what the pros say.

Hmmm.... you know, when I read your post and saw the picture, for some strange reason it reminded me of a movie I recently saw where a woman was looking at her slightly dirty screen door and there before her eyes up popped an image of Jesus. Now I don't know why your picture reminded me of that, but until you come to a definitive conclusion, if it were me, I think I would keep on looking. You know... just in case it turns out to be a bad case of wishful thinking/eye strain.
But I do understand. I've been looking for a 1943-D RPM-1 Lincoln for the longest. Occasionally, when I'm really tired, out of the corner of my eye, I see a cloud forming off in the east.

I think you may need to keep looking but I believe eye strain may be at work here but thats just my opinion,or perhaps you know something that I missed!

The image is inconclusive as to exactly what it is, but what it definitely is NOT would be either one of the two known OMMs for 1944D cents.

Coop, I wear "no-line" bifocals...aka "progressive" lenses...

Every time I look at that last gif you posted, I keep tilting my head in order to see the horse quicker than I see the frog!

STOP IT!
