My oldest coin is one I just bought off ebay and it hasn't arrived yet. It seems I can't save the image off of the auction, so I can't post a photo. It's a 1798 Large Cent, 2nd Hair Style (The most common variety I believe). I've always wanted a US coin from the 1700's! Sadly I will likely be in California by the time it arrives, and ironically it's shipping from California. I'm headed to northern CA, and the coin is in southern - otherwise I would ask to pick it up in person. |

The difference between Southern and Norther Cal is pretty dramatic....I just moved to Arkansas permanently from there a little less than two years ago....don't miss it a bit.

I guess it was just Firefox that won't let me save images? I manged to do it with IE.   |

Right-click and select 'View Page Info' on the context menu. Then select 'Media' in the toolbar. For pages with multiple images, you can "Save As" on each one from here. |

Yeah, you can say that again Moe.... If it were mine, I would find a way to wiggle those photos into every thread on the site (even the paper money threads). Gorgeous coin Paratrooper....  ..(I don't give two thumbs up very often). |
