Would like a little help on the grade please. There is a rim bump on the reverse also. Imagine that, 215 years old and already a rim bump. The white speck in front of and below the chin was a fuzzie and not on the coin. nlp

With strong rims, complete legends, and nice original surfaces I'd give it a VG-8. Lots of eye appeal at this level of wear!

Thanks for the help guys. I was thinking along the G6 or VG8 but the rim bump had me nervous. nlp

I agree, either G-6 or VG depending on the TPG-ers mood. I really like this coin, and its an excellent specimen for the type. It's kind of got that circ cameo look on the obverse.

VG-8 without the dent. G-6 with. Beautiful coin regardless!

The coin must have laid on something for quite a while for the reverse to have that chalky slate look to it. The obv has a lot of character. I just hope the rim dent doesn't warrant a genuine slab. nlp

I think 6 or 8 would be a fair grade for this one
