Hello everyone, just joined here and this is my first post.
I was going through my State Quarters last night and found a 2008 New Mexico that has a double D and the IGWT is also doubled very clearly. The liberty is slightly doubled as is the USA and QD. Has anyone else come across or heard of another N. Mexico double D? I am sure it is worth keeping.

Also, I have more than a few lincoln pennies from 1985 to 1989 that have a ridge going across all the letters of IGWT, they all seem to go around the coin and are all at the top of the lettering never the middle or lower part of the letters. It looks like the top of each letter is going over a hump and into a valley near the edge of the coin. It misshapes all the letters of IGWT. Was this common for these years?
Is it worth keeping these? Any opinion would be helpful. Thanks all, Anton

I tried to upload a pic, it was too big. My scanner is an older one, I can zero in on the part of the coin I want to scan but if I zoom it bigger so you can see the doubling it becomes too big to upload. This is the best I can do with this pic....Not sure if it shows enough detail

It can't be a RPM. Mint marks were placed on the die post 1990 on coins. Sounds like Machine Doubling? Picture could confirm this.

First I've heard of this one. I heard about some doubling on the reverse state map. I live in N.M. and have a couple of unc. rolls I better check.

There are some doubled dies on the single squeeze dies, but they usually are in the center of the dies and rarely on the outside near the rim design.

Any doubling you might be seeing on that coin is Machine Doubling and does not command a premium value. Basically it's a normal coin.
