I thought by doing my own thread I might get re-motivated to work on my album. Unfortunately, the wife got a new camera for Xmas after dropping the old one in a creek & I still haven't figured out how to take a decent picture with it. There isn't much detail in these pics but at least people can see how far along the album is. Report this Post to the Staff

I have been working on mine for about 25 years, I still have two holes left. Of course I have not added the gold page yet. I hope to acquire those last two this year. Whoever owned it before I did cleaned it....I believe they put it in a folder that allowed the obverse to tone while the reverse stayed white. I've never even considered it since now. I have most of the coins for the 70-70, but would have a few holes here and there in the early dollar areas. Report this Post to the Staff

Many of mine were either duplicates (for example, my Franklin was a duplicate from a roll find) or hole fillers in other Dansco albums (for example, my Morgan and Peace dollars occupied two of the four extra holes in my Eisenhower Dansco).
