Since there are so many Brands and Sizes what is your bar and size of choice?
For me In the smaller amounts I love buying the Scotiabank 5oz pucks, they stack good and the 5oz makes them very affordable.
In the Larger size bars I prefer the Engelhard 50 oz poured bars. I guess these could be called my addiction. the perfect size and stack perfectly.

I'm a big fan of 90% silver but if I was to get bullion again like I did in the past, I would get a mix of 1 oz rounds and 5 oz bars. Very liquidable. I avoid large bars as its harder to sell when you need the money (100 oz bars)

Im a fan of the 1 oz rounds that hold numismatic value as well as there silver content maple leafs.ASE's.Pandas etc....makes the rounds easier to sell if need be and if silver prices fall the numismatic value HOPEFULLY will stay more constant.....

Brands perhaps Engelhard and Johnson, the ones I like or even Sunshine bars seems reaonably priced....
I as well like the 1 oz silver rounds say 1 to 5 oz, round or art bar....
Only bar size I could see me buying would be 10 oz bars perhaps, due to limited funds....
Like mkman123 said, larger the silver perhaps longer time to move if you need to sell and payment asap. My largest individual bar, is a 12 oz silver 100 dollar bill. I like to hold it sometimes in its protective plastic case which makes me happy. Feels like real treasure, lol. If silver ever even hit 150 an oz it would be hard to move a piece that size at 12 oz.. At 150 an oz, that bar would be worth around 1800 on spot, and toss in a couple more hundred for rarity an minting, plus nice case an coa, and of course for the sake of even numbers, you would have a 2000 dollar 12 oz bar....
Here's to dreamin!!

Bryan, why are the Canadian Wolves so sought after, I had them on my watch list, the seller had several, and they all sold out?
The house league hockey team I play on is called "The Wolves", lol. I need to get one of those....

1 million mintage, same thing with the bears and if they didnt sell out so quick I would of got them over the ATB but either way I'm happy in the end. Plus the 1/2 oz silver wolf is going for about double melt I believe

10oz silver bars are a nice size and I prefer Engelhard. Most of my silver is in 90% halves and Morgan/Peace dollars though.

I haven't added any bars to my small collection yet but I plan to someday. When I do, they will most likely be 5-10 oz. in size. I like their looks and they should be quite liquid. The Englehard and Silvertowne bars are definitely attractive for their appearance.

For silver I've bought a variety of both bars, coins, and junk. I feel that it is helpful to have a little of everything, as we don't know what items would be the most desirable in any number of scenarios that could potentially play out. That being said, I have more 1 oz. than anything. I have some larger 10 oz. as well. I feel that the 1 oz. denominations are for the long haul, while the larger bars I'd be more likely to part with if I ever needed fiat or silver got high enough to warrant a sell.

10 oz. bars, quite hefty and solid, never have been a big fan of the 5 & 10 oz. beer coasters, although the ATBs are rapidly changing my mind. 90% silver proofs is my PM drug of choice, can usually be had at melt, and it truly is the poor man's hedge against inflation.

I like whatever I can get under spot, but I end up reselling anything over an ounce. I just dont see the reason to have bigger sizes if a smaller size is the same price. I like 90% too, and prefer whatever is the least worn, though I am a little bugged by washington 1/4's and roosevelt .10, just because they look so much like modern trash coins.

I've been collecting ASE's, Maples, and was able to pick up a Tube of Grizzly's. Looking into bars soon just to add to my stack.

I agree completely on this. A REAL silver coin ought to LOOK like a real silver coin and not a slightly shinier version of the current junk coins. A mercury head dime, for example, LOOKS like real silver to me, where the Roosevelt dimes do not. Not that I wouldn't buy any Roosevelt dimes, if the price were right. My only weakness in this opinion comes from the Kennedy 1/2 dollars. I really like the design on the reverse. Of course, the walking liberty 1/2 dollars are among my favorites, along with ASEs.
