Any coin that you don't see every day in circulation. I'll give up my lunch money to buy a coin from a fellow worker! In a way, nothing has changed since I started collecting in Junior High!

I'm a half dollar guy too. Bust, seated, walkers, Benjamen's, and commemoratives all catch my eye.

Always been a copperhead. LWC seem to float to the top but I have a nice set of GB pennies and brass three pence as well as other world coppers. I have some of that shiny silvery stuff but I don't care much about it :)

I like that answer. I will add to it whatever I need to complete my other Dansco albums as well.

I'm with nybird. It used to be LWC's but recently I discovered Canadian Large Cents, especially those with the beautiful Queen Victoria's Photo on it. Now all I want to do is search my small stash for varieties and pick the brains of those collectors who have much greater knowledge than I.

Indian Head Cents. More affordable than Large Cents & Flying Eagles, yet neater based on the fact that most were made more than a hundred years before I was born. Next come Lincoln Wheat Cents, then Union Shields and Memorials

Anything I can find roll hunting. My whole collection is pretty much what I found searching at face.

I love the early US commemoratives but the ones I would like are a little out of my budget for now. Lately I've fallen in love with large cents. Working on completing a set of braided hairs atm.

Right now it's modern coins (Lincoln/Jefferson/ASE). Bought my first Morgan a few weeks back but I'm trying to educate myself a little more on both Morgan and Peace dollars before diving in. I've seen several posts calling out fakes on ebay and I'm still trying to learn how to distinguish fakes from pictures.

My favorite to collect is the Lincoln Wheat Cents and Indian Head cents. Until Silver went out of sight, Seated coinage was a favorite.
