Whats your favorite coin to collect? Mine are errors and die varieties. I like the uniqueness of the coin rather than just a normal coin.

Walking Liberty halves and proof silver coins. I especially like proof silver coins as many times I have gotten them for melt!

favorite coin is any one that surprises me in a good way. like paying $85 for a 1944-S Walking Lib Half, slabbed and graded by Bozo, Inc as an MS-66. then get the coin, look it over, and find it flawless. crack open the slab, send it off to NGC, and they agree!

Merry Christmas in March !!

otherwise put....a broken clock is correct twice a day.

My coin is the Japanese 50 yen. Tried to pick one that wasn't too difficult to collect every year. Twenty-four so far, thirty-one to go. :)

Welcome morphious!

For me, my first love has always been Colonials. I am currently working on Barber dimes and am growing quite fond of this series :-)

I collect the Walking Liberty half dollar. I really like the early dates and I like the different varieties (doubled dies, RPMs,Large&Small mint marks, missing AW, Hand engraved AW).

to those from India and even Canada.
Just kidding about the even thing.
I mostly am looking for any coins USA coins minted prior to 1492.
Also, any foreign coins with a BC after the date.
If you find any please let me know.
I'm really sort of stuck on those Mercury dimes. Presently have 12 completed Albums and many, many rolls and 2x2's full of them. Way over 3,000 of those things.
I want the good old days back when those were the only Dimes being produced.
