well after reading about them I decided to start looking for them at work am I seeing things this is the best pic I could get with a scanner  |

Sorry the image doesn't help. It appread the loop of the G flows over the top of the unright? On the oo6 the top loop falls short.  |

Well, the initials appear close enough to the memorial, but the image is too blurry to draw a conclusion, IMO.

That sure looks good to me. I can just make out the serf on the end of the "G" as in Coops photo's. Well done, still looking for my first one!

It doesn't look like an RDV-006 to me...I'm not an expert but after finding four of them, they just kinda jump out at you....this one's not doing that.

ok one last shot at a better scan I can see why you have your doubts heres a shot of the whole coin  heres one I know is a RVD 05  |

I'll admit that last scan does make me think but the only thing that bothers me is that the G should be farther to the right...see how the centerline is past the tip of the memorial on this pic ?  Edited by Maineman750

darn thats a nice pic but the coin is being scanned so all details are not visible and there is alot of light play back into the scanner if I had better means of taking a closeup I would but it does match coops pic the shorter rounder G with the bar in it the top curl not going past the center bar. I wish I had a better way of showing it to you guys

hybrid, the best thing about searching cents is that it only costs one cent to put it back until you get better pics or somebody to examine in hand.

Hey Coop-
I know you've got a wealth of photos. You couldn't have that store of images without the knowledge and understanding that you obviously possess.
It's not my intention to "call you out", but would you consider expounding upon your photos with more text. I really enjoy other's informed perspective and would love to get a better grasp on your perspective and views. Maybe I shoulda PM'd you, but I'm being genuine and real, no disrespect intended.

Based on your latest pics, unfortunately,that's a RDV-005 not the RDV-006.

OK gents - help out a newbie here would you? I've been away from coins for 10-15 years or so. What in the world is an RDV-006? I looked in the glossary, and I tried to look at some posts - but I ain't found nuthin', soes howz 'bout helpin this hick and learn me whut one've them things iz?
